I am an assistant in many different ways; depending on the environment, as well as the needs of the client.

As a Receptionist, I take care of the administrative tasks that need to be done. From answering calls using a multi-line telephone system, filling large amounts of paperwork, send and receive small packages to full skids, track multiple container shipments, organize all types of meetings within the office.

As a Product Development Manager, I discuss ideas with clients, fine-tune custom items with manufacturers, create presentations, mock-ups and sales proposals, seek out 3rd party vendors, oversee production and relay necessary info to other related departments, etc.

As an HR Assistant, I enroll individual Sales Reps with insurance in accordance to their province or state, comply with all paperwork from Workers Compensation Board in Canada and the US, prepare office-wide individual salary negotiations and changes, and manage Corporate Health and Medical Insurance coverage, all in strict confidence.

As an Executive Assistant, I handle contractual materials, get legal / accounting approvals, work with interdepartmental, manage calendars for upper management, book flights, hotel and cars for board members, file expenses and arrange budgeted out of town meetings, etc.

As an Entrepreneurial Assistant, I set schedules for clients who need to meet with customers, create new databases and forms to track time, expenses, and billing of clients; create or update existing sales portfolio and presentations and assist during client meetings.

As a Virtual Assistant, I edit and proof-read articles and e-books for online publication, transcribe webcasts, create selling accounts for physical and e-items, create and update multiple social media accounts, setup and filing of insurance and tax items, etc.

Background

Raised in Vancouver, BC, I majored in English Literature and Art History in the General Arts & Science Program at Langara College.

After finishing college, I worked several years in the photography industry and found great interest in a supportive capacity within the office setting.

With years of experience in various types and sized companies, along with an adaptability to continuously learn new skills, I am able to assist in many different areas to suit my client needs.
